Juror’s Statement: Becca Foster received the Sary/Rudy award and truly captured my atention with the intricate stitching that rendered what looked like almost photographic images. People who collect thimbles are known as digitabulists and theses small collections reveal information about not only the history of sewing but also specific places and events. They are Miniatrure Wonders that hold a wealth of information to anyone who is curious.
